Kulturnatten - Giv nyt liv til medbragte og nyfundne skatte
Lær om upcycling, synlig lapning, remix og gendesign på de forskellige workshops – og hør hvordan DU kan være med til at begrænse vores overforbrug af Fast Fashion.
Med omdrejningspunkt om Kulturhusets fokus på bæredygtighed indenfor især tekstil åbner vi dørene med workshops i genbrugets og den kommende vintersæsons tegn.
Du kan deltage i forskellige workshops på KULTURNATTEN:
FASHION DUMPSITE
Klokken 18, 20 og 22 holder fotograf Søren Zeuth oplæg om de negative konsekvenser vores overforbrug af modetøj og ukritiske brug og smid væk-kultur har på vores miljø, lokalt og internationalt.
Scenen sættes af Sørens Zeuths værk Fashion Dumpsite, der fra en dominerende plads på facaden mod Charlotte Ammundsens Plads illustrerer konsekvenserne af vores hang til Fast Fashion.
ALTERNATIVE FASHION WEEK:
Hos os kan du deltage i en hands-on workshop, hvor du og en ven kan upcycle sweatre til en bolero, en nederdel eller ben/håndleds-varmere. Vi tilbyder også gratis lappe opskrifter, så du kan arbejde med dine tekstilrester derhjemme.
STITCH N' BITCH:
Til Kulturnatten, kan du redesign dit tøj med nogle nemme metoder fx. tekstilmaling og broderi. Tag et stykke tøj med hjemmefra. Har du ikke tøj med? Intet problem! Vi har en masse t-shirts du kan vælge fra.
FASHION REVOLUTION:
Når vi bruger vores yndlingstøj igen og igen, bliver det slidt. Kom til Kulturnatten og lær Visible Mending/Synlig Lapning og giv nyt liv til dine yndlingsjeans. Ved at bruge Synlig Lapning tilføjer du en kreativ historie til dine jeans og bidrager til historien om skønheden i det uperfekte.

Hos os kan du opgradere dit tøj med tryk - Giv dit tøj nyt liv med din personlige stil. Lav dit eget, enestående design på en af vores genbrugsskjorter eller t-shirts som du kan finde i genbrugsbunkerne.

From Rags to Fine Fashion! Learn about upcycling, visible mending, remix and redesign at the various workshops - and hear how YOU can help limit our overconsumption of Fast Fashion. With Kulturhuset's focus on sustainability, textiles in particular, we open the doors with workshops in the spirit of recycling and the coming winter season.
You can participate in different workshops on KULTURNATTEN:
ALTERNATIVE FASHION WEEK
At our place, you can participate in a hands-on workshop where you and a friend can upcycle sweaters into a bolero, a skirt, or leg/wrist warmers. We also offer free patchwork patterns, so you can work with your textile scraps at home.
STITCH N' BITCH
At Kulturnatten, you can redesign your clothing using some easy methods such as textile painting and embroidery. Bring a piece of clothing from home. Don't have any clothing with you? No problem! We have plenty of t-shirts you can choose from.
FASHION REVOLUTION
When we use our favorite clothes again and again, they wear out. Come to Kulturnatten and learn Visible Mending techniques, breathing new life into your favorite jeans. By using Visible Mending, you add a creative story to your jeans and contribute to the narrative of the beauty in imperfection.
AFTER_FLOW CREATIONS
At our place, you can upgrade your clothing with prints - Give your clothing a fresh look with your personal style. Create your own unique design on one of our shirts or t-shirts that you can find in the recycling piles.
